Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 3
Beethoven: Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral”

A concert that spans town and country. In his Symphony No. 6, Beethoven is in awe of the power of nature, with a prayerlike sense of gratitude after surviving the storm. Jessie Montgomery’s tone poem Records from a Vanishing City soaks up the music that surrounded her growing up in New York, including Latin jazz, alt rock, classical and Caribbean dance music. Mozart’s sunny Violin Concerto No. 3 features TFO Associate Concertmaster Nancy Chang. For complete program information, including program notes, artist bios, and maps to our venues, click here.

PRE-CONCERT CONVERSATIONS: Get the real story behind the composers and their music, straight from the conductor and guest soloists. Starts one hour before each Masterworks concert in the theater. Included free with each concert ticket. Sponsored by Smith & Associates Real Estate

Sponsored in part by the State of Florida through the Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, and the Florida Council on Arts and Culture.
