Ravel: Daphnis et Chloé, Suites 1 & 2
Carl Orff: Carmina Burana

The season starts with a bang! Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana is an epic fight back against the powers of fate that has become the inspirational soundtrack for everything from Tampa Bay Buccaneers games to TV shows and movies such as The Hunt for Red October. Featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, the musical drama explores the forces of humanity – from young love to drunken monks. The evening starts with something far lovelier, Daphnis et Chloe, Suites 1 & 2, which will be performed with the rarely heard wordless choir.
