Michael Ippolito: a la fenestra
Vivaldi: The Four Seasons
Beethoven: Symphony No. 5
Maestro Michael Francis opens the season in a big way with the most famous four notes in music, plus Vivaldi’s most enduring work, featuring Concertmaster Jeffrey Multer. “As we emerge from this crisis, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is really the only piece that could open the season, because it so perfectly embodies our journey from darkness to light. This is a time of rejuvenation, and what better than Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to take us out of winter and into the new spring of life,” said Maestro Francis. An exciting new work called a la fenestra by Tampa native Michael Ippolito opens the concert with a world premiere.
